3 Salad Dressings You Need in Your Life
The key to making friends with salad is a killer dressing. So I'm bringing you 3 easy, healthy an delicious salad dressing recipes, in collaboration with iHerb, my favourite place to get great quality and even better priced staple ingredients from.
One of the biggest mistakes people make when trying to eat more salad (and I definitely did this too!) is just eating it plain. No dressing, no nothing. Or maybe a bit of lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. But if your salads are that plain, then you're bound to get sick of them sooner rather than later.
Since I started making my own tasty salad dressing to drizzle on top of my greens, I just want ALL the salad. Dressings completely transform plain, boring salads into these wonderful, delicious flavour explosions...and the BEST way to make sure you eat enough veggies and also enjoy eating them is to simply make them taste great!
Along with being delicious, these 3 dressings are also ridiculously easy to make, taking less than a few minutes each to whip up. They are all free of oil, gluten, refined sugar, added sodium and any of those nasty preservatives and additives often found in store bought dressings. They are packed full of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant herbs and spices. And they also keep well in the fridge, stored in a glass jar, so you can even make a big batch of them once a week to have ready to drizzle whenever needed!
Even better is that I got all of the ingredients (with exception of the fresh lemon from my lemon tree outside!) delivered straight to my door from a single online order from iHerb. They have such a huge range of staple vegan products, including all of my favourite organic spices which I used in these dressings, and for a much cheaper price than you'd pay at a health food store too! They are a food shopping heaven, with over 5000 grocery products and shipping to 160 different countries, and amazing customer support (in 10 different languages, might I add!). I have linked all the exact ingredients I used and recommend for the dressings!
And the team at iHerb have also given me a discount code to share with you all, for 5% OFF your order for all new customers, just enter GDF941 at the checkout! PLUS if you spend over $40 as a new customer, you can use the code WELCOME5 for an additional $5 OFF. Thanks iHerb!
